The NHS must increase the use of digital in the vaccination process
With the pressure now on to meet the 13.9 million vaccination target by February 15th, the NHS needs to be integrating intelligent booking systems into the vaccination process.
Yet another cause for celebration this month after hearing that we’ve scooped two awards at the prestigious Health Tech Digital Awards 2020.
Priority Digital Health won the ‘Best COVID-19 Solution for Community Care’ award for their ‘Covid-19 Welfare Platform’, which was mobilised in just seven days during the height of the pandemic.
Developed in partnership with Provide CIC, the platform enables the most vulnerable across Essex to register a request for support and allows volunteers to register their offer of help. Health and social care professionals can, in real-time, match volunteers to requests for support via the platform.
The platform has since been enhanced to support all residents with the practical, emotional, healthy lifestyle and social care support they need.
We were also crowned winner in the ‘Best Solution to manage Chronic Disease’ category for their ground-breaking Diabetes Education Booking Platform, which has empowered people with diabetes living in South London to self-book their education courses.
The fully interoperable diabetes platform integrates with all GP practices, allows course providers to create and edit their courses and empowers patient choice by course style, time, and location.
Within a three-year period over 40,000 people are expected to benefit from the ability to access a wider range of courses through the innovative platform, either online or in any part of south London.
