Priority Digital Health Sponsors Social Prescribing Awards

In its second year, the Social Prescribing Network and the College of Medicine will be awarding ten deserving entrants for their efforts in social prescribing, throughout the UK and internationally.

As members of The Social Prescribing Network and big-believers of modern and holistic approaches to healthcare, sponsoring the award for Best Larger Social Prescribing Project was a no-brainer for us. Particularly when entries are likely to reflect the strains of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year felt even more important.

Through our own proprietary system, the PDH Platform, we’ve seen how well social prescribing services complement our range of modules; as well as the power that it brings to communities and healthcare services.

This includes the ability for individuals to take full ownership of their own health and wellbeing; as well as the visibility that alerts local authorities, commissioners, and primary care providers on the needs of their area.

“Everybody in social prescribing has worked extraordinarily hard to support their clients, colleagues, and communities. We know from the first social prescribing awards, that the importance of recognising people for their ideas, their perseverance, and the impact that social prescribing has can not be understated.

"This time more than ever the awards will pay tribute to all the people who have gone above and beyond in some of the hardest operating environments they have ever known.”

Marie Polley, Co-Chair, Social Prescribing Network.

You have until Monday 25th January to enter the 2021 Social Prescribing Network awards - good luck!
